Yoga Teachers

Must be certified (200 hours minimum) and have (or get) liability insurance.
All lineages welcome! Please be aware that, in an effort to be more culturally accessible, our program does not use Sanskrit or chanting.
Must be able to adapt their teaching style to use our curriculum. While there is plenty of space for your own approach, we also use a consistent class format, rotating topics, and specific mindfulness exercises for all classes.
25 hours of teaching experience or more preferred.
Experience with youth (ages 11-24) strongly preferred
Pay: $75 onboarding bonus, and $50 per class

Assistants

Must have some experience with youth programs and/or teaching, especially in a classroom, fitness or coaching setting.
Experience with yoga and/or meditation is preferred.
Pay: $75 onboarding bonus, and $25 per class

For both positions:

Training in trauma-informed and/or healing-focused practices strongly preferred.
Position requires professional development/training provided by YEAH! YOGA.
Looking for individuals that can be flexible and are team players willing to work with a diverse staff and be able to adjust to the constraints of different bureaucratic environments.
Must adhere to YEAH! YOGA's youth safeguarding policy.
Background screening is required. Prior criminal record does not necessarily prevent hire. (Some sites might require additional background checks and/or child safeguarding training).
Must be able to travel to various teaching sites and possibly bring yoga equipment to class when necessary.
All employees are 1099 contractors and are considered to be self-employed.
